Keys to Symbolic Meditation: A Coros Event

This weekend will provide opportunities to identify and utilize symbolic imagery that can support a soul seeking passage through the Flaming Door. Meditative exercises based on Rosicrucian visualization techniques provide a backdrop for the discovery of personal symbolic imagery. Lab periods devoted to exploring the power of the fundamentals of design will reveal forces hidden in color, form and space. These experiments in design will be woven into seminar sessions where thematic motifs excerpted from ancient esoteric texts will serve as the seeds of group conversations and journaling sessions. Practice in various arts provides the soul breathing that aids successful self-transformation. The goal is to develop practices that utilize the power hidden in symbolic consciousness.
Materials needed: Please bring a glue stick, a spiral sketchbook (9X12 approx.) and four or five picture magazines such as National Geographic as source material for your collage work.
